Golden West District Camporee 2025

The 2026 Goldenwest District (GWD) Spring Camporee is scheduled for April 17–19, 2026, at Firestone Scout Reservation.

  • Theme: Caveman Olympics
  • Camping Fee: $50 per person for the weekend.
  • More that 300 people are registered for the event!
  • Registration: Early bird fees are $40 per youth/adult, increasing to $50 on April 4th.
  • Location: Camping at Loma Linda and events at Wyote.
  • Events: There is still the opportunity for another unit or two to run an event. This is critical to having a fun, event-filled Camporee. If you have a spare parent or two that can run an event, please let me know.
  • Cooking: Charcoal cooking is permitted if kept off the ground; however, final fire and charcoal approvals depend on April weather conditions.
  • Caveman Club Contest: Patrols are encouraged to design and bring a “Caveman Club” for the event. They will create the club out of any materials, and turn it in for judging. Best clubs will be awarded and announced at Campfire on Saturday night.
